Climate change is one of the major risks facing the world today, impacting business operations while continuously threatening human health. As a pharmaceutical company, Lizhu adheres to the mission of "patient life quality first", consistently practicing the concept of low-carbon operations, mitigating global climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and simultaneously striving to provide solutions for health needs caused by climate change, minimizing the impact of climate change on the environment, human health, and business operations, and actively assuming social responsibility.
In 2025, the Group valued the impact of manufacturing emissions on neighbouring communities and the public environment, converting emission output already disclosed in the appendix into external social cost. A year-on-year reduction of 32,546.8 tCO2e in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gases was multiplied by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment 2025 national carbon market average price of RMB 62.36 per tonne, indicating RMB 2.0296 million of climate social cost avoided by the public. Year-on-year declines in key air pollutants likewise point to a lighter external air-quality burden.
