On November 25 at 19:20, [CCTV1 News Broadcast] reported: The recombinant COVID-19 fusion protein vaccine from Livzon Biotech has started vaccinations in multiple locations, and it was explained that unlike inactivated vaccine technology, sequential booster immunization can provide good protection against COVID-19 caused by the Omicron variant and has very good safety.

Livzon Biotech's recombinant COVID-19 fusion protein vaccine "Likang V-01" uses IFN-Pan-RBD-Fc molecular design, which integrates biological adjuvants such as interferon, Pan epitopes, and Fc immune-active components based on RBD dimers. It can quickly activate and produce a lasting immune response, and sequential boosting can generate high titers of neutralizing antibodies. It is suitable for individuals aged 18 and above who have completed two doses of inactivated vaccine and have a vaccination interval of more than 6 months for booster immunization.

Clinical trial data shows that Livzon Biotech's recombinant COVID-19 fusion protein vaccine "Likang V-01" has good safety and excellent protective efficacy, particularly advantageous for the elderly and individuals with underlying health conditions. After sequential boosting with Livzon Biotech's recombinant fusion protein vaccine "Likang V-01" based on two doses of inactivated vaccine, the absolute protective efficacy against mild symptoms and above caused by the Omicron variant (compared to unvaccinated individuals) is 61.35%, which is comparable to the effects of the third booster dose of mRNA vaccines, whether homologous or heterologous. The protective efficacy for high-risk individuals with underlying diseases reaches 71.83%, and for those aged 60 and above or with underlying conditions, the protective efficacy is 61.19%, making it suitable for elderly vaccination.

In addition, regarding the concerns about safety and durability, as of now, more than 20,000 people have been vaccinated with Livzon Biotech's recombinant COVID-19 fusion protein vaccine "Likang V-01". The incidence of adverse reactions such as injection pain is about 1/10 of that of mRNA vaccines, and the adverse reaction rate is comparable to that of inactivated vaccines. The booster immune response is rapid and has good durability. Seven days after sequential boosting with Livzon Biotech's recombinant COVID-19 fusion protein vaccine "Likang V-01", the neutralizing antibody level can increase by about 20 times compared to before vaccination; it approaches its peak at 14 days, making it suitable for emergency vaccination; six months after booster immunization, the antibody level still maintains more than 1/3 of the peak, retaining a high level of neutralizing antibodies against Omicron.

With the mutation of the virus and the impact of climate factors, the domestic epidemic situation remains severe and complex. Recently, the National Health Commission issued a notice on "Further Optimizing COVID-19 Prevention and Control Measures and Scientifically and Accurately Carrying Out Prevention and Control Work," requiring the orderly promotion of COVID-19 vaccine vaccination. In the future, as Livzon Biotech's recombinant COVID-19 fusion protein vaccine "Likang V-01" is fully rolled out across the country, it will help China successfully establish an immune barrier.
