On the afternoon of March 30, Mr. Tao Desheng, the Group President, and Dr. Fu Daotian, the Group Vice President, received Xu Shaohua, a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, along with Li Jia, a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Zhuhai Municipal Committee, who came to inspect.
President Tao introduced the development history and the progress of the corporate strategic transformation of Lizhu to the provincial and municipal leaders, especially providing a brief introduction on the progress of biopharmaceutical research and development that the provincial and municipal leaders are concerned about, as well as the platform construction of the Group's research team.
President Tao stated that with the care and assistance of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Government, and Zhuhai Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, in recent years, Lizhu Group has launched a grand project for the strategic transformation to biopharmaceuticals. We are keenly aware that in the 30-year development history of Lizhu, the company created the brilliance of Lizhu during its first entrepreneurship, making it a well-known local enterprise in Zhuhai, and also forged a deeply rooted brand image in the national pharmaceutical industry. However, with the continuous emergence of new achievements at the forefront of the international pharmaceutical industry, biopharmaceuticals have become another wave following IT, developing rapidly and still on the rise.
If Lizhu's goal of 10 billion relies on chemical drugs and traditional Chinese medicine, then Lizhu's goal of 100 billion must rely on biopharmaceuticals; our strategic transformation is an inherent requirement for self-development and a voluntary choice, which is the clear future development direction set by the board of directors.
Executive Vice Governor Xu Shaohua said that scientific research is certainly a national strategy and should also be a long-term strategy for enterprises. He hopes that Lizhu's talent team will gather strength and attract more high-end talents to Zhuhai and Lizhu to showcase their abilities and realize their value. This not only contributes wisdom to society but also reflects the value of talent, providing a broader stage for the development of researchers. Of course, our government mainly builds a talent platform, and the value of talent will definitely be rewarded by the market; as a government, we need to connect the last mile, promoting economic and social development through the transformation of scientific research achievements.
