The research on the injection of Ginseng and Astragalus for supporting the immune system has won the second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

On the morning of January 8, 2018, the 2017 National Science and Technology Awards Conference opened at the Great Hall of the People. Leaders of the Party and the country attended the conference and presented awards to researchers who won the National Highest Science and Technology Award, National Natural Science Award, National Technological Invention Award, National Science and Technology Progress Award, and International Science and Technology Cooperation Award. The field of traditional Chinese medicine achieved remarkable results again, with four achievements winning the National Science and Technology Progress Award! Among them, the project "Research and Application of Triterpenes and Their Saponin Components in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicines" by Professor Ye Wencai's team from Jinan University won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The main research units of this project include Jinan University and China Pharmaceutical University.

Among them, the project "Research and Application of Triterpenoid and Saponin Components of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Drugs" by Professor Ye Wencai's team from Jinan University won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The main research units of this project include Jinan University, China Pharmaceutical University, Lizhu Group Limin Pharmaceutical Factory, and Guangzhou Kanghe Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Limin Pharmaceutical Factory of Lizhu Group began collaborating with Professor Ye Wencai's research team from Jinan University in December 2010 to conduct research on the separation and structural identification of active ingredients in Ginseng and Astragalus Injection. Professor Ye Wencai's research team conducted systematic studies on the chemical components of Ginseng and Astragalus Injection, isolating and identifying 46 compounds. The research team optimized the fingerprinting of Ginseng and Astragalus Injection established by our factory and identified 15 chromatographic peaks using reference substances. Limin Pharmaceutical Factory applied the research results of this project for the selection and procurement of medicinal materials, quality control of raw materials and injections, effectively improving the scientific nature of product quality control, and it is one of the main methods for internal quality control of Ginseng and Astragalus Injection, achieving significant social and economic benefits. |
