The Scientific and Technological Award of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the national scientific and technological award in the traditional Chinese medicine industry and is also the most influential award in the industry.
The Traditional Chinese Medicine Center, in collaboration with the Lizhu Group, the National Key Laboratory of Emerging Infectious Diseases at the University of Hong Kong, and the National Key Laboratory of Traditional Chinese Medicine Quality Research at the University of Macau, applied for the project "Technical Invention and Application of Antiviral Granules Against Emerging Infectious Diseases".This project won the first prize of the 2014 Scientific and Technological Award of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is the highest level of scientific and technological award and honor that Lizhu Group has received to date. Dr. Cao Hui, the project leader of the Lizhu Group's antiviral granule project and director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Center, received the award certificate from Luo Fuhe, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, representing the crystallization of the hard work and passion of all project team members and the commitment to continue in-depth research and development of the project.
This is another good news for Lizhu Group after its major products, Ginseng and Astragalus Injection and Esomeprazole, won the first prize for scientific and technological progress in Guangdong Province. It is particularly difficult for Lizhu Group to win the award for the third time with its independently original leading products, and it is a great gift for the 30th anniversary of the group.
The award for the antiviral project will further inspire all project team members and the group's scientific research team to continuously strive for progress and reach new heights; it will further establish Lizhu Group's position in the industry as a research and development-driven and advantageous technology demonstration enterprise and enhance the group's influence in the industry.
Dr. Cao Hui, the project leader, has been conducting in-depth research and development on antiviral granules against avian influenza H5N1, H1N1, H7N9, and hand-foot-mouth disease EV71 for 10 years. This award will have a significant driving effect on the bidding and market sales promotion of antiviral granules. Science and technology are productivity, and scientific research results must be quickly transformed into market driving forces, which has been repeatedly verified in the development history of Lizhu.
