Lizhu Group held a special event to deeply commemorate Mr. Xie Weihong, the former director of the Limin Pharmaceutical Factory Research Institute, who passed away ten years ago. This serves as a cultural activity to gather strength, pass on the torch, review history, and forge ahead.

At 9:00 AM on September 15, the group held a memorial service at the Limin Pharmaceutical Factory for Mr. Xie Weihong, the former director of the Limin Pharmaceutical Factory Research Institute, a senior engineer who enjoyed special allowances from the State Council, and who dedicated his lifelong wisdom and efforts to the group's pillar product, the Shenqi Fuzheng injection.

Members of the Limin Pharmaceutical Factory management team, including Xie Haiyan, Cai Xinfeng, Liu Donglai, and about 40 key personnel from the factory and research institute, paid silent tribute for one minute under a large photo of Mr. Xie Weihong, and then everyone participated in a discussion memorial meeting.

Dr. Huang Wenhua, the R&D director and director of the Limin Research Institute, hosted the memorial service.

Xie Haiyan, the factory director and party secretary, first introduced the life of Comrade Xie Weihong.

Director Xie said: "When drinking water, do not forget the person who dug the well; the previous generation plants trees, and the next generation enjoys the shade." Mr. Xie Weihong presided over the R&D of the Shenqi Fuzheng large infusion project throughout his life, but he left us just as the project was bearing fruit, which is regrettable and sorrowful, and we miss him infinitely. Today, Shenqi has become the group's pillar product and a towering tree for Limin, but Mr. Xie Weihong did not get to enjoy the sweet fruits of this tree. Mr. Xie Weihong was the first factory-level leader to pass away in nearly 50 years of Limin's establishment, and we deeply commemorate this generation of scientific research leader who devoted his life to the development of Limin.

The person has passed away, but the spirit remains. We must gather strength through remembering and recalling the achievements of the old director, to shape and promote the Limin spirit with his scientific research spirit and dedication.

Factory director Xie Haiyan also told everyone that Mr. Xie Weihong's photo has been hanging in the Limin Research Institute for 10 years, a decision made by President Tao back then; every time I go to the R&D building, I smile at the old director's photo, and when I encounter difficulties, I silently ask the old director in my heart: "Can you tell me what to do?" Although the old director has passed away, he is still in our hearts and by our side.

The old director's commitment to his career and projects has become a model and strength that inspires our generation to move forward bravely, but this spirit of inheritance still requires each of us at Limin and every researcher to constantly reflect.

Liu Xuehua fondly recalled the old director's desire for life and his reluctance for unfinished business in his final moments ten years ago. He said that when we sorted through the old director's belongings, there were only a few pieces of worn clothing and his research documents and work sheets.

What can comfort the old director is that in the past 10 years, the production and sales of Shenqi have increased from one million bottles to 13 million bottles now, totaling 60 million bottles.

Liu Xuehua continued, saying that a few days ago at a dean's meeting in Anhui, President Mingde of the China Pharmaceutical Management Association said that Limin Group's Shenqi Fuzheng injection is a model of traditional Chinese medicine.

However, leaders at all levels and our researchers know that in order to purify and extract Shenqi Fuzheng, Mr. Xie Weihong poured his heart and soul into it, making bold innovations in the process, which has led to today's brilliance.

Cai Xinfeng, the executive deputy factory director of Limin Pharmaceutical Factory, said: "Through the memorial activities for the old director Xie Weihong, we have a strong impetus to promote the research and development spirit of Shenqi and refine Limin's corporate spirit. The R&D and patent research of Shenqi are still ongoing. It is hard for us today to imagine how many difficulties the old director overcame and how much hardship he endured, but the old director and a group of scientific research management backbones at that time turned a seemingly insignificant product into the group's flagship product under extremely difficult conditions, and it is still being promoted. We must have this kind of spirit to do better work at Limin, especially to ensure good production and sales coordination and clinical safety risk control, ensuring that the group's operational goals are not compromised."

Liu Donglai, the deputy factory director of Limin Pharmaceutical Factory, said that the old director Xie Weihong's selfless dedication, perseverance, and innovative spirit in R&D work are worth our eternal remembrance; however, we cannot rely on just one product like Shenqi for 10 or 20 years, we cannot just rely on past achievements; we must pursue the ideal of developing a new product like Shenqi in the next 10 or 20 years.

Song Yangang, the deputy director of the research institute, said that through the memorial meeting, I learned that the old director Xie Weihong was not a professional in traditional Chinese medicine, yet he made significant contributions in this field, and since we are professionals in traditional Chinese medicine, we must carry out Limin's traditional Chinese medicine R&D well. First, we must continuously enhance our interest in traditional Chinese medicine R&D and have full enthusiasm and passion; second, we must work diligently and solidly on our current tasks; third, we must develop good habits, pay attention to details, continuously accumulate, and strive for breakthroughs; fourth, we must have an innovative spirit. Just think about it, developing large-volume traditional Chinese medicine injections in the 1980s required immense courage and innovative spirit!

Huang Wenhua, the R&D director and director of the research institute, said: "Through the commemoration of the old director Xie Weihong, we understand the extraordinary journey of Limin through storms, especially the arduous process of Shenqi from project initiation to becoming a major product, which poses higher demands on our current R&D work. First, we need to seek opportunities and possibilities for developing new products, especially from clearly structured natural medicines; second, we need to raise the standards of existing products and enter the pharmacopoeia, fixing them in the form of national regulatory standards; third, we need to enter Shenqi into the national catalog, ensuring smooth sales through safety re-evaluation, putting the product into the "national" cage; finally, we must achieve high-quality evaluations with the product's own solid gold content and strength, creating the best conditions for production and sales in R&D, and R&D must also control clinical safety from the source.

President Tao Desheng repeatedly pointed out the significance of holding an event in memory of the late former director of the Limin Research Institute, Xie Weihong, who passed away ten years ago: Everyone should know that throughout the 30-year development of Lizhu and the nearly 50-year journey of Limin, many people have made significant contributions, especially at various critical junctures in the company's transformation. They worked selflessly and dedicatedly, and Lizhu will always remember them and ensure they are recorded in the history of the Lizhu Group. Xie Weihong is one of the most outstanding representatives among them. We not only cannot forget him, but we also need to tell the newcomers in the company that there are people like Xie Weihong during the company's development and transformation; they are the valuable assets of the enterprise and the embodiment of the corporate spirit.

Therefore, holding a memorial service for the late director Xie Weihong is a meaningful activity for Limin. This is not just an event for Limin; it is a sincere tribute from the group to the outstanding contributions made by the older generation of researchers who have passed away.

This event not only commemorated the extraordinary achievements of the older generation of researchers who made contributions under difficult conditions but also raised significant questions for us today: From the group level, we have had the brilliance of Lizhu Dele, and we also have the brilliance of today's Ginseng Qi. What will we rely on next? Our goals and directions have long been clear, but how will we invest ourselves in the journey of creating brilliance again? This is something we need to face and think about.

More importantly, how will we pursue truth with rigor and pragmatism to discover relative truths? How can we connect theory with practice and continuously innovate and progress? Because on the road of scientific research and the path of corporate transformation, there cannot be a smooth road; instead, we are destined to climb on rugged and perilous paths to possibly open up a broad avenue for our grand cause.

President Tao also told me: Scientific research is a long-term and arduous task that requires the efforts and dedication of several generations. I remember when Ginseng Qi won the provincial science and technology progress award, I told you: The Ginseng Qi project started in 1986 and, after more than 20 years, succeeded only through the continuous exploration and research efforts of three generations at Limin Pharmaceutical Factory. When we won the award, I represented the entire research and development team of over 20 years to accept it. Unfortunately, our main researcher, the late director Xie Weihong, passed away several years ago due to overwork in the research of Ginseng Qi. The award for the Ginseng Qi project also makes me miss him even more; this award is the best comfort for him.
