On the morning of January 6, a grand "Seminar on the Research and Development and Transformation of Innovative Drugs" was held at the Lizhu Industrial Park. At the seminar, top clinical medicine experts, clinical pharmacy experts, health economics, pharmacoeconomics, and experts in drug policy reform and medical insurance from across the country provided many new insights and ideas regarding Lizhu's innovative drug research and development and transformation, greatly benefiting the attendees. Mr. Tang Yanggang, President of Lizhu Group, delivered a speech at the seminar. Mr. Tang pointed out that the research and development and transformation of innovative drugs is a major proposition of the era. Without innovation, enterprises will face a survival crisis; without innovation, enterprises will be eliminated by the times. But how to innovate.

Mr. Tang pointed out that the research and transformation of innovative drugs is a major proposition of the era. Without innovation, enterprises will face a survival crisis; without innovation, enterprises will be eliminated by the times. But how to innovate? How to innovate? We must stand at the strategic height of the company, combine with reality, and steadily promote various tasks of innovative research and development.
Mr. Tang said: "Lizhu was established in 1985, initially starting with Lizhu Dele. Now, we have our own Class 1 new drug, Esomeprazole, and injections in the gastrointestinal field. Through more than 30 years of continuous development, we have been innovating and researching in the fields of reproductive assistance, mental health, and others, forming a specialized drug research and development pipeline with Lizhu characteristics. At the same time, we established a monoclonal antibody company in 2010, and over the past eight years, the company has invested more than 1 billion in the research and development of biological drugs, with more than 10 products currently under research, each at different clinical stages.
"In addition to biopharmaceuticals, we have also made comprehensive layouts in precision medicine and microsphere fields. In 2016, we successively established a gene company and a microsphere company, and we are currently fully promoting the layout of gene testing-related businesses; in the microsphere field, we already have mature products like Leuprolide, and there are 6 projects under research, among which the Triptorelin (one month) project has entered the clinical stage, and the Leuprolide (three months) project has been submitted for clinical trials."
Mr. Tang emphasized: The layout of these research and development fields will inject new vitality into Lizhu's sustainable development. He finally pointed out that he hopes that all expert friends can provide more advice for Lizhu, especially in the field of biopharmaceutical research and development, giving us some constructive suggestions. He hopes that in future work, we can continue to work hand in hand to make more contributions to promoting the research and transformation of innovative drugs in our country.
Mr. Tao Desheng, Vice Chairman of the Group, gave a concluding speech at the seminar.

Group Vice President Fu Daotian, Vice President Xu Guoxiang, and other company leaders attended the seminar, which was hosted by Zhao Qing, Assistant to the Group President and General Manager of the Market Access Headquarters. At the seminar, Chief Scientist of the Group Research Institute, Hou Xuemei, Yang Chunling from the Marketing Headquarters, and Dr. Chen Fanwei from the Monoclonal Antibody Company conducted special discussions on the clinical application issues of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), metabolic risk management of atypical antipsychotics, and the research and innovation of antibody-based biopharmaceuticals.
On the afternoon of January 5, these top experts from China, accompanied by Vice Chairman Tao Desheng and Vice President Fu Daotian, enthusiastically visited the Lizhu Industrial Park, gaining a new understanding of Lizhu's innovative development over the past 30 years and providing many valuable suggestions.
